03.05.2007The Metalstock/Road Rage tour was a ripping success! All shows exploded with hellacious energy and the response from crowds was bewildering - Hellhails! Photos of the Metalstock show have been added to the gallery and shots of the other shows will be added as they come to hand.
Deafening salutes go out to tourmates Nervecell (Dubai), Aeturnus Dominion (NSW), Oliver (tour manager), Thomas (merch) and Asheron (sound) for all the killer times and general support as we clattered throughout the Aussie outback.

Western Australia's premier metal website Western Front recently held their annual awards show on April 20th 2007 with The Furor winning awards for most popular metal drummer (Disaster!) and most popular website (you're looking at it!). 15.01.2007 - OVERDUE UPDATE:
THE FUROR will be embarking on a 7 show eastern states tour in early April alongside exotic death metallers from Dubai 'Nervecell'. The tour will consist of shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Wagga Wagga, Wollongong, Sydney and will conclude at Scone's 'Metalstock' festival - more details soon.
THE FUROR will also be recording a 3 track promotional release of new mayhem to be featured on an upcoming full length album. The promo, as well as new t-shirts will be available in the coming months from the band directly (at shows, etc) or you can contact the band with expressions of interest.
The shows and gallery sections have also been updated.

As the website is now under our jurisdiction you can expect more frequent updates from the band - the most recent being the addition of dozens of photos in the gallery section including Nile/Behemoth tour photos, our recent Cryptopsy support pictures and other assorted mayhem. The video for 'Thrive on War' is also now available for download in the releases section, shot to pieces by Red Empire Media. There will be a merchandise section added in the coming months, as well as a press section which will include various reviews and interviews relating to The Furor.
Disaster also received the award for best drummer at the 2005 Western Front metal awards this past weekend - hellish gratitude to the superior masses who cast their votes his way. Hail blast!
Past News Advance Australia Warfare album launch
The Furor officially launched their second LP "Advance Australia Warfare" in Perth on the 22nd of April with two gargantuan shows, supported by Pestilential Shadows (NSW), Impact Winter and Wardaemonic. Eternal gratitude is extended to Pestilential Shadows for making the extreme trek from Sydney to blasphemise local audiences with their anti-human black metal plague, plus salutes to Impact Winter (their return show) and Wardaemonic. "Advance Australia Warfare" is available through MGM distribution. The Furor are now working on new material over the remainder of the year for their next release. The next live assault will be in support of Cryptopsy on the Perth leg of their current national tour on the 9th of May - see shows section for more details.
April eastern states mission accomplished
The latest Australian enslavement has been completed. The Furor bombarded audiences in Brisbane, Sydney (Brute Force Fest), Wyong, Newcastle and Metalstock open air festival in Scone with great success. Blasphemous hails to Kent (Minus Life), Goredo, Cam (Stigmata Productions), The Black Asylum contigent, Rob (Vaticide), Soundworks Entertainment and all others who made it blast.
Nile and Behemoth tours complete
The Furor have returned after successfully decimating Australian stages alongside Nile and Behemoth. Big thanks to everyone that helped make this happen and all the lunatics we met and drank with along the way.
Second album complete
The Furor have just completed their second full-length album entitled "Advance Australia Warfare" - 60+ minutes of utter rip-roaring speed death black metal recorded by Dan Majer of Fullpower Recordings. Available now through MGM distribution.
